GENERAL ADMISSION
It costs roughly £14,000 a day to run Winchester Cathedral and your admission fee directly supports the future of the cathedral.
Adult - £13.50 (£12.50 if you book online)
Over 66 - £12 (£11 if you book online)
Student - £7 (£6 if you book online)
Children under 16 (with family) - Free
Groups (10 adults or more) - £11pp
Student Groups - £6 per Student (Teachers/Group Leaders are Free)
Enjoy a £1 discount when you book your annual pass online. Simply click on the 'Visit us' section in the drop down list on the right hand side of the website and then click 'Book your visit'.
With your pass you can visit the cathedral as often as you like for 12 months.
Please be reminded that entry for worship and prayer will always be free of charge.
Winchester Cathedral is dog friendly. Well-behaved dogs are welcome inside the cathedral but must always be kept on leads and you must not leave your dog unattended. Dogs are not permitted at events, services, or inside the café.

Organ tuning
Winchester Cathedral is a working cathedral, which means monthly tuning of the organ.
2025 Organ tuning dates are:

Regular tuning helps to keep the magnificent organ sounding at its best, but it may be noisier than usual in the cathedral during your visit.
